Front Sight Founder Files Bankruptcy

KPVM has reached out for comment with no response to the facility. Front Sight owner Dr. Ignatius Piazza has filed for bankruptcy. Hers are big shoes to fill, to whoever is elected to the position. The recent elections have taken their toll and Merlino is excited to finally retire. Her crew had nothing but praise, tears, hugs, kind words and some cake today, while bragging about what an amazing person Merlino has been to work with. Nye County Sheriff's speak with Blundo about pornographic material uploaded to Internet

Nye County Commissioner Leo Blundo had contact with NCSO deputies again at his residence. This time his wife is alleging that he is disseminating pornographic video and photos of her on the internet. News 25 spoke to Blundo for an extended period of time today urging him to express his side of this story. Leo declined but was sure that this is a political attempt by his opponent to ruin his chances for re-election. Police say that Mrs. Blundo declined to file charges against her husband in this case.

Dog Attack in Pahrump

A small child was attacked by a dog yesterday in Pahrump. The child sustained significant facial trauma as a result. Nye County Animal Control, Nye County Sherriff’s Office Deputies and PVFRS Medics were called after the family took the child to Intermountain Health. The child was flown to a trauma center alert and conscious.

Women's Health

r. Pelin Batur specializes in women's health for Cleveland Clinic. She says women will often come in for symptoms related to Perimenopause, Post Menopause or when they have disruptions in their menstrual cycle. Testing varies based on the situation. But Dr. Batur says, in some cases, they will check estrogen, testosterone or thyroid hormone levels. She says it's important to note that certain symptoms, like difficulty losing weight or hair loss, aren't always related to hormones. It could be due to dietary and lifestyle choices. That's why Dr. Batur makes sure to have a thorough conversation before making a determination.
