Yesterday’s BOCC agenda had commissioners torn as to if they wanted to write a letter of support regarding a 100 acre solar project that will feed into Valley Electric’s power grid. Commissioner Strickland championed the idea stating that she believed the resolution for the county to not support solar plants in town was specific to BLM land and privately owned property. Earlier this month a presentation was made regarding this project.
