Nye County District Attorney Chris Arabia spoke up during the most recent Board of County Commissioners meeting to give an update on some cases his office is pursuing. One concerns a 26-year-old Pahrump woman who died after ingesting drugs laced with fentanyl. Arabia tells News 25 that he takes this matter very seriously and that the law clearly states that if you provide drugs to an individual and they die as a result you can be charged with murder. The DA says he's also looking at pursuing charges in a similar case, where another person died as a result of a fentanyl overdose.
