Last night, we told you how Never Forgotten Animal Society stepped in to help re-home more than two dozen dogs rescued from a hoarding situation in California. But there are many other dogs and cats at the shelter awaiting their forever homes too. In this special edition of Save A Pet, Never Forgotten's Pat Leming explains how you can help -- by adopting an animal, or supporting the shelter and its mission. Never Forgotten Animal Society is located at 520 East Street, right behind Wells Fargo Bank. They're open Monday through Saturday from 10:00am-5:00pm. In addition to monetary donations, Never Forgotten Animal Society also accepts donations of items for re-sale in their second-hand store, the Make An Offer Shoppe. That store is moving into the former J&T Cleaners location, right next to NAPA Auto Parts. Leming says they hope to open there in the next week.
