An inmate at the Nye County Detention Center is being recognized for his part in helping to save the life of a fellow inmate. Captain David Boruchowitz released details in a video posted to the Nye County Sheriff's Office Facebook page. Kevin Dent is accused of taking part in the kidnapping, torture and murder of Roy Jaggers, of Las Vegas, who's body was discovered at Cathedral Canyon back in August. Dent and co-defendants Heather Pate and Brad Mehn are all in jail, awaiting trial, which is scheduled for August 2022.
