A familiar face in Nye County has set her sights on Carson City. Melissa Blundo announced her candidacy for State Assembly during a campaign kick-off event Friday in Pahrump. Blundo says she looks forward to being able to represent the people of the 36th District. Blundo, a Republican, will face off against incumbent Gregory Hafen in the primary election next June.
