Soroptimist International is a global volunteer organization that provides women and girls with access to the education and training they need to achieve economic empowerment. Part of that mission includes the opportunity to win scholarship money through the organization's 'Live Your Dream Award.' The Pahrump Valley Soroptimist Club's Elaine Cassell says the scholarship is somewhat unique.
