Thanks to the life-saving efforts of Pahrump Valley Fire and Rescue, a young girl is alive today, after nearly drowning in a backyard pool over the holiday weekend. Pahrump Valley Fire Chief Scott Lewis explains what happened. The preliminary investigation indicates the girl may have gotten her hair caught up in a drain opening in the pool.
