A year ago, Nye County Commissioners decided the county didn't have enough money to grant pay raises to elected county officers -- or themselves. Today, the county's financial situation has improved. So commissioners have voted to rescind last year's action, which effectively allows an automatic increase in compensation to kick in next year.
