An almost head on collision on March 27 on Highway 95 took the life of 3 people. Michael Durmeier, Lauren Starcevich and Durmeier's 12 year old daughter Georgia were killed in the crash. They were all from Victor, Idaho and along with Lauren's two other children were on a spring break trip. Now Tyler Kennedy is facing five counts of reckless driving causing substantial death or injury and possibly DUI. District Attorney Chris Arabia spoke to News 25 about the case. Kennedy was also recently in Pahrump justice court and is also facing additional charges for voluntary sexual conduct with a prisoner.
