Like many other businesses and organizations, the Amargosa Opera House, in Death Valley Junction, is struggling due to the pandemic. The opera house, hotel and café closed more than a year ago. And while the hotel is open again, managers aren't sure when the opera house and café will reopen for business. Hotel Manager Brooke Gray says the last year has been tough. The Amargosa Opera House operates as a non-profit corporation.
