Folks concerned about our environment came out Saturday to celebrate Earth Day and Arbor Day at the annual event in Pahrump. Local event organizer John Pawlak says this year's celebration was a big success. And a big congratulations goes out to Heather Freeman, who works as the Master Gardener Coordinator at the University of Nevada extension office here in Pahrump. Freeman is the recipient of this year's Environmental Person Of The Year Award.
