A local chapter of the national organization Jobs for America's Graduates is trying to make life a little better for homeless people in our area. Representatives with Jobs For Nevada's Graduates, at Pahrump Valley High School, say they're thrilled to be able to provide solar backpacks to those in need. In addition to the solar items, each backpack was also filled with personal care supplies, like toothpaste, a toothbrush, soap and shampoo... clothing, including socks... and food, which was donated by local organizations.
