A major intersection in the southwest portion of the Las Vegas Valley is now a bit safer. Clark County Commissioner Justin Jones, who lives in the Mountain's Edge community, flipped the switch this morning, activating a new traffic signal at the intersection of Mountains Edge Parkway and Rainbow Boulevard. Commissioner Jones says 16-thousand drivers travel through the intersection daily.
