Doctors are encouraging people to get the flu shot this year because it is possible to contract both the flu and covid-19 at the same time. That scenario is being called a 'twindemic'. Flu shots do take up to two weeks to build your immunity to the flu after you receive the vaccination and everyone 6 months and older should get the flu vaccine.

The Physicians at P3 here in Pahrum want to help our senior community, 65 and older, some of the most vulnerable to the flu, receive their flu shot. Tomorrow they will offer a free drive up flu shot clinic. News 25 spoke with Becky Holiday about the P3 clinic and how attending can get you a very cool t-shirt!
