At approximately 7:03pm PST, a M4.6 earthquake occurred near Barstow, CA. The main event was felt lightly in Pahrump, NV, and followed shortly after by a much smaller M2.9 aftershock. It's too early to say if the M4.6 was a main sequence event or a foreshock.
