UPDATED 8:05PM PST DEC 11, 2019: Update on fatal accident from Fire Chief Scott Lewis from Pahrump Valley Fire and Rescue.
Emergency crews are working a head on crash tonight at mile marker 34 in Nye County on US Highway 95. One person is declared deceased on scene. Two people were transported via Mercy Air helicopter to a trauma center in Las Vegas. Two other individuals were taken by ground ambulance to a Las Vegas Hospital. The highway is closed during the investigation by Nevada Highway Patrol.

UPDATED 7:05PM PST DEC 11, 2019: According to Nevada Highway Patrol the fatal crash on US Highway 95 is between a Toyota passenger car and a pick up. The passenger car drifted over the centerline and struck the pick up. A passenger in the Toyota has died, the driver and other passenger are critical. The two other individuals in the truck are in serious condition. Traffic is being diverted around the crash at a Highway 373. One car is from Idaho and one from Nevada.

POSTED 6:05PM PST DEC 11, 2019: Traffic is blocked on Highway 95 at Mile Marker 34 for a fatal two vehicle head-on crash involving a passenger vehicle and a semi-truck. One person was entrapped and two unconscious according to the Nye County Sheriff's Office. Two Mercy Air helicopters are landing on the roadway to transport the victims of the crash. .
