Pahrump Valley is Home to a Variety of Wild Animals

The desert is home to many types of creatures. Lucky for us, most are not a threat to humans. Some are scary. Others are a nuisance. And one that we see more often can be a threat to small animals like chickens and small dogs. Nye County Animal Control officer Levi Gregory stopped by News 25 last Friday to talk about the dangers of leaving pets in hot cars. While he was here, he also gave us a rundown of the animals we're likely to encounter in the Pahrump Valley.
