Anti-Defamation League Nevada (ADL) Announces Family and Community Engagement Services (FACES) Education Classes
January 10, 2020 By Ann Sliman

LAS VEGAS – Anti-Defamation League Nevada (ADL) announces Family and Community Engagement Services (FACES) education classes scheduled January 13, 2020 through February 28, 2020. The classes are 1.5 hours long and only open to parents during the school year. The classes are free and available to all parents through the Clark County School District FACES program.

This training course is designed to give parents a basic understanding of what signs and symptoms to look for in their child regarding bullying. It will also give parents and families an opportunity to learn what steps they can take to prevent bullying, how to report it, and the state laws regarding bullying.

“ADL offers this program through the Clark County School District in order to help inform parents and caregivers about the basics of bullying so they can combat the issue before it happens and what to do when it does happen,” said Katrina Sandigo, Education Director at ADL Nevada.

The following schools are confirmed for January and February 2020 education classes.

• Lee Antonello ES (1/13)
• Gibson MS (1/14)
• Schofield MS (1/15)
• Bertha Ronzone ES (1/28)
• Red Rock ES (1/29)
• Harmon ES (2/5)

The course is offered at any Clark County School District school or FACES Family Engagement Center. Any interested parent should contact their child’s school who can request FACES programming.
